As I had mentioned on social media, prices were raised Nov. 1 as the launch sale came to a close. What I didn't mention on social media is why. If you read my previous blog post about why the store is named The Binding Stitch, you know that community and giving back are an important part of this business. For every standard needleminder purchased $2 will be donated, for every stitch guide needleminder purchased $3 will be donated, for every small canvas $10 will be donated, and for every large canvas $20 will be donated (after the return window has closed). I had originally planned different nonprofits for each product to raise funds for, but in light of recent events all proceeds will be split evenly between Mountaineer Food Bank and Brazos Valley Food Bank.
